In the next part of the FinTech Roadmap podcast we talked with Jakub Škrabánek, the founder of the company Orbi, which is developing an application unifying personal finance management in one place. Jakub shared with us the motivation to start a company whose ambition is to replace the role of traditional financial advisors with a digital solution that is fully on the client's side.
We analyzed how Orbi works under the hood — what technologies and algorithms it uses to recommend products, manage contracts and investments, and how it tries to eliminate conflicts of interest typical of commission models. There were also topics such as financial literacy of Czechs, Orbi target group or vision for the future. In conclusion, we also dealt with the question of whether financial advice is moving towards full automation, or the human element will continue to hold its place.
