The state of digitalization across industries and AI as an accelerator of change with Michal Líška, COO Actual Reports

3.3.2026

In the new episode of the podcast, we focus on the topic of digitalization of financial services and other industries and its real impact on business. The guest is Michal Líška, COO of the company Aktuelle Rapportthat specializes in automation of documentation and helps companies streamline their work with documents from their inception to regulatory reporting. Right at the beginning, we discussed how a relatively small company can achieve significant success, what specific implementations they have behind and what the role of COO entails — from vision and strategy creation to financial planning to day-to-day operations.

We also devoted a significant part of the interview to the documentary State of Digitalization 2026 Report, which Actual Reports has prepared as a practical compass for SMEs. We discussed the difference between digital amenity and true digital maturity, the reasons why digitalization often does not deliver the expected results, and how to set it up to generate measurable business value. There was no lack of concrete success stories and a look at the state of digitalization in financial services.

A separate topic was artificial intelligence — its real benefits, limits and return on investment. Michal, who also focuses on AI as part of his doctoral studies, shares his view on whether we are witnessing a technological revolution, or rather an inflated bubble. We also discussed the practical use of AI in Actual Reports, the impact of European legislation including e-invoicing and the future competitiveness of European companies in the global “AI race”. In conclusion, we invite you to March Conference in Brno Clubco, where the topics of legislation, document accessibility and the role of the document as a legal obligation will also be heard.
