In the new episode of the FinTech Roadmap podcast, we welcomed Simona Michalíková, who works as Fintech HUB Manager at CzechInvest. Together we delved into the regulatory environment for fintech startups and explained what role CzechInvest plays in supporting them. Simona described not only her daily work, but also the wider context in which CzechInvest operates.
The main theme of the episode was the concept of fintech sandbox — what it actually is, how it can help young fintech projects overcome regulatory hurdles, and what other forms of support it offers. We also looked at how similar sandboxes work abroad, which entities can participate and what criteria they must meet.
