After almost two years, Twisto returns to our FinTech Roadmap podcast, this time with a new CEO — Nemika Menevse, who took over after the acquisition by Turkish fintech group Param. In an interview conducted in English, we mainly discussed the direction Twisto is taking after this key step.
Nemika explained how the acquisition took place, what cultural differences she had to overcome when working with the Czech team and what changes customers and customers may (or may not) feel. We also discussed the sustainability of the GDPL model in the context of high inflation and interest rates, product innovations such as Twisto Picks, and plans to continue expansion within the CEE region. The speech also addressed the differences in regulation between the EU and Turkey and Nemika's vision for Twisto for the future.
